Meet Rango! He is the newest addition to the Little Shack menagerie! My son, Zac, has been planning and waiting for the day he could finally get a lizard and yesterday it finally happened! We picked Rango up from the breeders and brought him him home in a box with hand warmers under paper towel to keep him warm. He is now settling into his new home and Zac is doting on him like a new daddy! He is only 5 weeks old, a Bearded Dragon, and about 6 inches from nose to tail tip, but he will grow to about 18 inches in length. Zac saved his money and has paid for everything himself, so I am very proud of him. This little guy is just the cutest little thing and I know he will give Zac years of happiness. Zac has been reading and watching You Tubes on taking care of these creatures so is well prepared for all they involve. We had lots of fun this morning giving Rango his cricket breakfast. Pretty exciting! I'll keep you posted on his growth and adventures as time goes on.
